Rhythm Brew Festival Poster Illustration

I was commissioned by Rhythm Brew Festival to design their poster for 2019. The Festival takes place in Newport, KY on the opposite side of the OH river from downtown Cincinnati, where you can see the beautiful downtown cityscape with its iconic skyscrapers and the Roebling Bridge. Cincinnati has a vibrant art and music community in a wide range of styles and genres. This festival features live visual artists, and music in the realms of folk, blues, rock and indie rock. Cincinnati/Newport/Covington is also a huge craft beer city. I did my best to capture all of these elements within the image.
I do traditional work with paint on canvas most of the time, but I'm starting to dive deeper into the digital art world.
